Alan Cumming won Best Reality Host for the second time at the 2025 Emmys for hosting The Traitors.

Celebration of victory
At the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys, “The Traitors” host Alan Cumming won the title of Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program.
At the ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in L’Angeles, Cumming did not look back and celebrated his victory for the second time.
Award for the second consecutive year
By winning the Emmy for the first time last year, Alan proved that he is not only an experienced actor but also a master host of reality shows.
This time too, his connection with the characters was really liked by the audience.
How tough was the competition
In this category, he was facing Survivor’s Jeff Probst, Top Chef host Kristen Kish, RuPaul of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the seven “Sharks” of Shark Tank – Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Daniel Lubetzky.
With such a historic lineup, it was expected that the tree would be cut down, but Cumming won everyone’s heart with his easy style and humor.
Jeff Probst’s long list
Jeff Probst, who is running Survivor for the 25th season, has four Emmy wins and this time he received his 14th hosting nomination.
Probst says he gets a chance to understand human curiosity and behavior in Survivor, which is why he wants to host it as often as possible.
Kristen Kish’s journey
For Kristen Kish, who will be heading Top Chef in 2023, this was her second nomination.
Kristen, who grew up in Michigan, said becoming a TV host was a coincidence in her career: “I kept saying ‘yes’ and today I’ve been able to make my mark.”
RuPaul’s glamour
RuPaul’s Drag Race has long showcased a combination of fashion, drama and Latin humor.
Look at RuPaul’s confidence with 29 Emmy wins and 79 nominations—he’s proven what a true star is yet again.
Shark Tank’s “Sharks”
Shark Tank’s famous investor team also set a record by getting nominated this time.
