The 44-year-old comedian maintained her signature humor even while delivering the difficult news, writing, “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years.”
She assured fans that they still love each other and are focused on co-parenting their son, Gene.

Sources close to the couple described the separation as “amicable,” stating that there is “nothing bad” between them.
The pair, who began their relationship in 2017 and married in February 2018, are reportedly simply “finalizing some things.”

The couple’s primary focus remains on their 5-year-old son, Gene, who was born in May 2019.
