Big Little Lies’ explosive return
The news of the third season of Big Little Lies has filled the fans as well as the cast with new excitement.
When Deadline reported that Francesca Sloane will be writing the first episode, Shailene Woodley immediately responded by writing “we ARE so back” on her Instagram story.

Shailene first reposted Blakely Thornton’s post, in which she had a photo with Laura Dern and Zoë Kravitz.
The caption was, “Big Little Lies 3, you ready???” Shailene wrote, “We ARE so back.”
After a while, she also wrote “cause … it’s happening …” in a separate post, which clearly shows that this season is no longer just a rumor.
Francesca Sloane’s contribution
Francesca Sloane, who wrote the first season of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, who has run shows like the one she did, will now also be an executive producer on Big Little Lies Season 3.
According to Deadline, Donald Glover–Maya Erskine’s second season has been put on hold, but Big Little Lies has been given the green light.
Along with Sloane, David E. Kelley, Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will also be part of the production team.
That familiar family
Reese, Nicole, Laura, Zoë and Shailene showed tremendous chemistry in the first two seasons of Big Little Lies.
Meryl Streep’s joining in the second season made it even bigger.
Now the same strong chemistry will be seen in the third, but the new story will be taken from Liane Moriarty’s next book.
Fans’ unending wait
The first season came in 2017 and the second in 2019.
Since then, everyone has been eagerly waiting for the third.
Kelley said in June that all the contracts are still being discussed and everyone has to brainstorm together.
The answer to the fans’ question, “When will the new season come?” is now forthcoming.

David E. Kelley said that Season 3 will be based on Moriarty’s new book, but the planning is not complete yet.
“We haven’t brainstormed yet,” he revealed. This time too, the show will have twists, emotions and small secrets, which will take the story of Monterey’s long journey forward.
When will the new season be seen?
HBO Max has not yet announced a release date, but both the cast and crew are busy.
When Kidman mentioned the third season in 2023, the whispers also intensified.
Reese told Vanity Fair that everyone was calling each other on their phones—”Nic said Big Little Lies 3 is happening.”
