Cheryl Burke opens up – why do fans take Carrie Ann Inaba so seriously?

Cheryl’s Comeback, as a Guest Judge!
That’s interesting! Cheryl Burke, the famous former professional dancer from ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ is returning to the ballroom.
But this time, she will appear as a guest judge, not a participant. In the episode airing on October 28th, Cheryl will grace the judges’ panel.
And what’s more, she gave her full explanation when talking about the show.
“Why are fans more harsh on Carrie Ann?”
Cheryl touched on an interesting issue. She says fans are more harsh on judge Carrie Ann Inaba than on other judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
Cheryl said, “I think that’s been going on forever.” She added that Carrie Ann herself has openly admitted that it’s difficult for her.
Cheryl echoed Carrie Ann, saying, “The truth is, it’s their job, and they’re doing it well.” Cheryl also relates this to her own life.
Cheryl’s own experience
Cheryl explained that she has felt something similar, but in a slightly different way.
She said, “If I say something, and a man says the same thing, people’s reaction is different. The difference is clearly visible here.”
But she also said that you don’t do things like this for people’s reactions.
Painful Memories of DWTS
Cheryl’s return to the show is also special because she hasn’t hidden her mixed feelings since leaving the show in 2022.
When a tribute dance was performed in memory of judge Len Goodman, Cheryl wasn’t included.
Cheryl felt it was because of her podcast “Sex, Lies and Spray Tans,” and she was deeply hurt.
She stated directly that she no longer considered herself part of the DWTS family. Leaving the show was a heartbreaking experience for her.
She said the decision was even tougher than her own divorce. “It was my identity,” Cheryl said.
What are you thinking now? “Nothing bad, but it hurts”
Cheryl admits she hasn’t found closure about her DWTS journey yet. But she says she doesn’t hold any ill feelings toward anyone. Still, it hurts.
She says losing friends is a kind of grief, and it takes time to get over them.
So, Cheryl Burke’s return is an emotional rollercoaster – sitting in the judge’s chair, reliving old memories, and supporting friends like Carrie Ann.
