Former ‘The Bachelor’ lead Clayton Achard recently opened up on ‘The Viall Files’ podcast about reuniting with his ex Rachel Recchia on ‘Perfect Match‘ season 3.
Clayton, 32, said that while he loved filming the show, he was disappointed with the editing when he watched it on TV.
He believes that a lot of things and references were not shown in the show.

Clayton was initially paired with ‘Siesta Key’ star Juliette Porter, but when Rachel came into the villa, old feelings from their 2022 breakup resurfaced.
Clayton thought it might be the “right time” – until he realized from conversations and his intuition that they both have now turned in different directions.
Reasons for ending the relationship
Ultimately, Clayton realized that his and Rachel’s “vibes” and “lifestyles” didn’t match.
He also indicated that there were some things he didn’t want to share publicly because he felt people wouldn’t take them well.

Rachel was a finalist on Clayton’s season of ‘The Bachelor’, but he chose Susie Evans over both Rachel and Gabby Winde.

Clayton says the show made it look like he had more of a connection with Rachel than Susie during ‘The Bachelor,’ which wasn’t true according to his experience.
Still, he admits that maybe he lacked “emotional understanding” at the time and was willing to give it another chance.
