Acting journey started from Second City
Dan’s real journey started from Chicago’s famous ‘Second City’. It was from there that he learned the nuances of acting.
This young man, who sailed ships in the waters of the Great Lake, would have never imagined that one day he would stand on the stage of Broadway!
First step on Broadway
Dan, who started as an understudy in ‘Morning’s at Seven’ in 1980, never looked back.
In 1985, he worked with Judd Hirsch in ‘I’m Not Rappaport’ and let everyone know that he was here, and for a long time!

If you have watched ‘House of Cards’, you will remember Dan as Vice President Jim Matthews.
