Friends, Devon Walker has left the stage of Saturday Night Live after three seasons.
He posted an emotional post on Instagram, writing, “me and baby broke up ❤️.”
When and how did this relationship begin
Walker debuted as a featured player in the 48th season of SNL in 2022.
He was promoted to the main cast in two years and became an important face of the show in 2024.
A little love, a little toxicity
In an Insta note, Devon said that this job gave as much fun as a headache.
“Sometimes fun, sometimes toxic as hell,” he wrote.
But they formed a small family together, even amidst the dysfunction.
Work like an industry ‘marriage’
His analogy created a stir on social media—“Jobs here are like small marriages. Some last long, some break quickly.”
Walker cautions that commitment comes with risks.

Devon specifically mentioned Gary and Alex. “We went from a bar show to 30 Rock.

In three years, Devon has done comedy impersonations of big names like Eric Adams, Michael Strahan, Van Jones, and his chemistry with Colin Jost and Michael Che on Weekend Update was palpable.
Next destination: Japan and prestige drama
Devon will soon be leaving metropolitan New York for Japan.
