Old friends reunite in twin style
The atmosphere at The Drew Barrymore Show brightened on Friday when two old Hollywood friends, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, appeared in matching outfits.
Drew, 50, and Lucy, 57, wore identical khaki pantsuits, white shirts, and burgundy ties.
As they took the stage, fans were reminded of their blockbuster 2000 film Charlie’s Angels.
Drew warmly welcomed Lucy, saying, “We’re two-thirds of a famous crime-fighting team, so it’s only natural for us to match.”
Cameron Diaz Missed
If there was one thing missing from this reunion, it was their third partner, Cameron Diaz. Lucy joked that their matching looks would fill Cameron’s void for now.
However, Drew gave fans the good news that Cameron is currently busy filming his film in New Jersey, but the three ‘Angels’ will be reuniting this coming weekend, a much-awaited event.

During the show, things got a little serious and emotional when the discussion turned to Lucy’s new film, Rosemead. The film is based on the true and heartbreaking story of a mother and son.
When Drew praised Lucy’s work and mentioned their real-life son, Rockwell (10 years old), Lucy couldn’t hold back her tears.
Drew said he was very proud of Lucy, to which Lucy replied with a teary-eyed smile, “You made me cry.”

Drew and Lucy’s love clearly demonstrates that their friendship isn’t limited to films. Drew hugged Lucy at the end of the show, saying, “I’m so happy for you, you deserve this success.”
