After SNL, Life Is ‘Really Great’!
You may know Ego Nwodim from her amazing sketches on Saturday Night Live. But now, she’s said goodbye to the show. After seven seasons, Ego said her life is “pretty good.”
She says she’s able to work on her own projects and collaborate with new people to create new ideas.
The time at SNL was great, but now exploring the outside world is also giving me a new joy.

Ego shared some information about upcoming projects, but didn’t reveal too many secrets.
One of her most exciting projects is performing a one-woman show at the Lincoln Center.
She also had a few other things to say, but stopped at the last moment! She said, “I was about to say something funny… but I haven’t yet.
I just know, he’ll have some good tea later!” This means that some more big announcements are coming soon.
Feelings of a Friend Like Heidi Gardner
Ego also shares special feelings about her friendships. In her podcast, “Thanks Dad,” she spoke with her friend and former SNL castmate, Heidi Gardner.
Ego says she considers herself the luckiest person in the world to have a friend like Heidi.
The time they spent together on SNL gave them a friendship that is a lifelong gift. This relationship is special to her.
The End of the ‘Great Party,’ the Beginning of New Dreams
Ego wrote a heartwarming message on Instagram, saying goodbye to SNL.
He said, “The hardest part of a great party is saying goodbye. I’m so grateful to Lorne Michaels and the entire team.
That stage, that laughter, those memories… will always be with me.” And then, in his fun side, he told everyone, “Now be sure to invite me to your weddings!”
Ego Nwodim’s new journey has probably just begun, and let’s see what he accomplishes next.
