Eric Decker had to leave the show ‘Special Forces’! Injury forced him, his wife Jessie showed her love.

Body didn’t support him!
Eric Decker, a former NFL star, had a strong will, but his body didn’t.
After a task on the show ‘Special Forces’, he was so exhausted that he admitted, “My soul is exhausted.”
His wife, Jessie James Decker, was deeply worried as he reached his limits.
Fear of an NFL Career
Eric shared that he has a deep fear of failure. His football career ended for this reason. “I was afraid I’d be cut… so retiring seemed easier,” he said.
He suffered from depression and anxiety after retirement, and this show was a way to prove himself.
The Injury That Changed Everything
Eric thought he would move forward with courage and determination. But what happened during a football-like task?
He suffered such severe spasms in his back that he couldn’t even stand. Jessie explained, “Eric hadn’t been under this much physical stress since playing football.”
Doctor recounts the last incident
When Eric arrived at the doctor’s office, the decision was made after the check-up.
The doctor stated clearly, “It wouldn’t be safe to inflict further punishment on your hip.”
Meaning, Eric was medically removed from the show. This was very painful for Eric, as he never wanted to be called a ‘quitter.’
“We’ll go together” – Jessie’s reply
When Eric went to the bunk and told Jessie, “I’m leaving,” Jessie didn’t think for a moment. She immediately got up and started packing.
Eric asked, “Do you want to stay?” Jessie replied, “Yes, we’re going together.”
The two left the show together, holding hands. Their catchphrase, “We ride together, we fly together,” showed that their love prevails even in these difficult times.
Eric Decker’s journey ended here, but he showed that true courage isn’t about losing, it’s about putting your health first.
