That’s where I’ll hide your body after I kill you and chop you into pieces.”
The most shocking part? Gerry said all this without smiling, in a completely serious tone. Theresa found the ‘joke’ utterly bizarre and frightening.
How Did Theresa Feel?
This ‘joke’ raised many questions in Theresa’s mind. She thought that if this was his style of humor, it was truly very dark.
She felt there was a hidden resentment behind the statement, as if Gerry somehow wanted to get rid of her.
However, Theresa clarified that she doesn’t believe Gerry would actually harm her, but the incident certainly highlighted the growing distance in their relationship.

Theresa spoke about these things after Gerry released his book, ‘Golden Years’.
In the book, Gerry claims he had doubts before the marriage and that the lack of intimacy was the reason for the divorce.
Theresa says she remained silent, but now that Gerry has presented his version in the book, she feels compelled to reveal the truth. She said, “I never planned to say anything… but now I can’t ignore it.”
