Does Mel love Cindy?
This time isn’t going smoothly for Cindy. Whenever she’s not with Mel, her mind is haunted by one question—is Mel with her right now? She says, “It doesn’t feel good at all.”
And now the situation has become even more serious. Overnight dates are starting this week, including another woman (Peg).
Cindy says she’s been hurt more by similar situations in her life. So, the fear of not knowing what Mel thinks of her haunts her.

In the previous episode, Cindy finally mustered up the courage to tell Mel what she had been meaning to say for a long time.
She said she felt she was more interested in the relationship than Mel. When Mel said he was still confused about choosing between Cindy and Peg, Cindy made a direct comment.
She told Mel, “You never really ask me any specific questions, and that’s what bothers me the most.”
Cindy spoke from the heart: “What’s stopping you? Can you imagine a future with the two of us? What do you feel for me? My chemistry with you is absolutely perfect.”
Mel’s answer: “Give me some time, friend!”
Mel didn’t give a concrete answer to this question. He said it “takes some time” for him to form a deep connection.
He cited his past relationships as the reason, saying that’s why he doesn’t want to rush into marriage.
But Cindy suspects something else is at play. She feels she’s poured her heart out, but she doesn’t see the passion or enthusiasm in her partner to move forward. Ultimately, she wants to know, “What’s holding him back?”
Is Mel so consumed by his past wounds that he’s unable to give the new relationship a full chance? Or is there something else wrong with Cindy? It’s something to ponder.
