The holiday season is here, and this Hollywood power couple is preparing to cook up something special in their kitchen.

During a conversation with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Gwen Stefani revealed that her husband, Blake Shelton, has started a very fun Christmas tradition. They make the ‘Timpano Pasta Dome’ every year.

Gwen jokingly described it as a “carb-licious” dish that resembles a combination of a large pizza and pasta. It has now become a very important part of their family celebrations.

A New Twist to a Recipe from a Movie

The story of this dish is quite interesting. Blake Shelton decided to make it after watching the 1996 film Big Night. Initially, they made it the traditional way, with a pasta shell.

But over time, the couple added their own twist to the recipe. Gwen explains that they now cover it with pizza dough. She believes that when you can combine pizza and pasta, why not? It’s even more delicious.

Family Group Chat and Jimmy’s Surprise

Gwen thought her family might be bored with eating the same dish every year. She even sent a message to their family group chat asking if they wanted to make it this year.

But everyone loved the tradition so much that they unanimously said, “No, we want this!” A fun moment during the show occurred when Jimmy Fallon gifted Gwen a custom-made timpani on set. When asked about Blake, Gwen lovingly remarked that he was “gorgeous.”

New Songs and Father’s Curiosity

Besides the food, Gwen also talked about her career and her new film Oh. What. Fun.. She wrote the song “Shake the Snow Globe” for the film.

Another funny incident during this project involved Gwen’s father, Dennis. He kept asking Gwen if she had met the film’s star, Michelle Pfeiffer.

Gwen said it felt like her dad was “stalking” her! Finally, Gwen met Michelle at the New York premiere and revealed that she was truly as amazing and cool as she had imagined.
