The proposal story is absolutely cinematic! Hayley planned to propose to Becca on a beautiful beach in Mallorca.
It was peak summer vacation season, finding a private spot was difficult… but she managed it!
As soon as Becca said ‘Yes,’ Hayley looked up… and yes, it turned out to be a nude beach! There were naked men all around them.

Today, Hayley is using her art to raise her voice for the LGBTQ+ community. She asks, even with all the difficulties in the world, how can we find ‘queer joy’?
That’s the purpose of her book and songs – to tell the happy queer stories she didn’t have access to as a child.
She wants today’s children to be able to see two girls in love, to feel the joy of their happiness. Because everyone deserves to have a happy ending to their story.
