Eye infection changes plans
Fans of the famous actor James Van Der Beek will have to wait a little longer.
He recently apologized to the Today show and Craig Melvin on social media, explaining that he had to postpone his interview.
The reason was pink eye. He wrote, “Sorry, I had to postpone the date… My eyes are almost fine now. See you on December 17th.”
This disease spreads rapidly, so James decided it was best to stay home as a precaution.
Health has betrayed him before
This isn’t the first time James has had to miss an important event due to his health. You may recall that he missed the Dawson’s Creek reunion in September.
He was very excited at the time, but at the last moment, two dangerous stomach viruses forced him to bed.
That Emotional Unfulfilled Dream
Missing the reunion was heartbreaking for James. In a very emotional post, he explained that his co-star and good friend, Michelle Williams, had been planning the event since January.
James wanted to stand on stage and thank everyone who supported him in his fight against cancer.
But his illness prevented him from meeting his fans and friends, a regret he still feels.
A grand return to TV soon
Although James is currently battling health issues, there is good news on his career front. He will soon be returning to the small screen.
In May, it was confirmed that he would play a key role in Elle, the upcoming prequel series to Legally Blonde.
