James Van Der Beek and his extended family celebrated Halloween in style.

Phantom and Fox Pair
This Halloween, ‘Dawson’s Creek’ fame actor James Van Der Beek had a blast!
He shared a stunning family portrait with his wife, Kimberly, and their children.
James chose the iconic ‘Phantom of the Opera’ look, giving him full character. His wife, Kimberly, decided to become a smart fox.
Children’s Costume Carnival
Their children didn’t miss a beat either! Just looking at their costumes, it’s clear how much planning went into the house.
Some went for the Statue of Liberty look, while others went for a more traditional spooky look.
James and Kimberly have four daughters and two sons, and it seems each has their own unique style.
Lovely Pal
Kimberly shared a few more photos on Instagram Stories.
In one photo, she and James are seen together, with James making a serious face in his Phantom character, and Kimberly wearing spiderweb makeup on her neck.
Another adorable photo shows James sitting in a golf cart with his youngest son, Jeremiah, their joy evident on both their faces.
A Special Relationship
These festive pictures are also special because James is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer last year.
During this time, his father is based at his ranch to be with him, helping with everything from childcare to household chores.
James once spoke about how emotionally supportive his father is.
James wrote in a birthday tribute to his youngest son, Jeremiah, that he sometimes can’t lift him up because he’s weak, but seeing him every moment is the greatest joy of his life.
This Halloween, the entire family was sharing joy with each other, which was a beautiful sight.
