Jane Seymour Finds a Reflection of Her Own Love Story
Jane Seymour’s latest role is like looking in a mirror. At 74, she stars as Evelyn in Hallmark’s “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas.”
Evelyn is a widow who falls for Mac, a divorced man recovering from a motorcycle accident.
Mac is played by Nathaniel Parker. Why is this role so special? Because it mirrors her own real-life love story.

Speaking from the set in Ireland, Jane shared, “I know who Evelyn is.”
After four marriages, she’s now happily with her boyfriend, John Zambetti, who came into her life in 2023 thanks to her sons’ matchmaking.

Complicating Love’s Complications
Things get complicated in the show when Mac’s ex-wife, Delilah (played by Mary McDonnell), suddenly reappears. Jane understands this drama too.

Although Jane hasn’t experienced widowhood herself like Evelyn, her boyfriend lost his wife, giving her a unique understanding.
