What did Jenna Bush say on the live show?

Jenna Bush misspells words, fears boss’s call after using obscene words on NBC!

One small mistake, big trouble

Something unusual happened on NBC’s popular show “Today With Jenna & Friends” on Thursday.

President George W. Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush Hager used an inappropriate word during the live broadcast, which created a stir in the studio.

Controversy was hidden in old memories

Actually, Jenna was sharing memories of the 2012 London Olympics with her colleague Willie Geist and his wife Christina.

She told how Christina had made a comment about their then 3-year-old son George.

While telling her story, Jenna repeated the same words that Christina had allegedly said – “George is acting like an a–hole.”

Willie’s surprised reaction

As soon as these words came out of Jenna’s mouth, Willie’s face was worth seeing!

He immediately clarified, “I want to say on record that my wife never said this about my beloved 3-year-old son.”

But Jenna was adamant, “Yes, he did.”

Is it okay to say it once?

Realizing her mistake, Jenna looked around and asked, “Can I say it once?” Willie immediately replied, “No, zero times.

You can say it zero times.” Everyone in the studio was looking at her as if asking – “Why did you say that?”

Embarrassment and Anxiety

Embarrassed by her mistake, Jenna hid her face in her hands.

She tried to justify her mistake by giving the example of the show “Schitt’s Creek”, but Willie explained that the name of the TV show is a different matter because it is not technically an obscene word.

Will the boss call?

After the mistake, Jenna expressed her concern, “I think I’m going to get a call from the boss.”

Willie reminded her, “We’re live on NBC this morning” and advised, “No more repeating the list of swear words, stop right there.”

Not just Jenna

Jenna isn’t the only TV personality to have used an inappropriate word on a live show, though.

“The View” co-hosts are also often censored for swearing.

This small mistake showed just how challenging working on live TV can be – even a moment of inattention can become big news!
