Jillian Michaels vehemently denies allegations in Netflix docuseries with receipts

Jillian Michaels Netflix Docuseries – “It’s Full of Lies”
With the release of Netflix’s new docuseries Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, an old TV controversy is back in the headlines.
This time in the spotlight is former cohost Jillian Michaels, who has come up with a straight answer of her own — along with the threat of legal action.
Allegations that were about to ignite the fire
In the docuseries, former cohost Bob Harper, ex-medical consultant Dr. Robert Huizenga, and some other cast/crew made some pretty serious charges against Michaels. These include:
- Keeping contestants’ calorie intake dangerously low
- Giving caffeine pills
- Stopping medical treatment and medications
Michaels says all of this is far from the truth, and he has proof.
Flood of “receipts” on Instagram
Jillian shared old emails and texts on Instagram — according to them, it all shows that Harper and Huizenga knew about the caffeine pills, and the approval was theirs.
In another post, she shared a chat with season 11 winner Olivia Ward in which she instructs her to eat 1600 calories, which directly contradicts the “800 calories a day” claim made in the docuseries.
Straight answer to TMZ
While talking to Harvey Levin, Jillian called the docuseries “full of lies.”
She openly said she would either share all emails/public receipts or take legal action against Netflix, Harper and Huizenga.
For this she is meeting high-profile lawyer Bryan Freedman.
Old partnership, new rift
Michaels hosted 15 seasons of The Biggest Loser (only seasons 3, 12, 13 were left out).
In 2014, he quit the ongoing show due to “fundamental differences” with the producers.
Harper says that Michaels did not contact her after his heart attack in 2017, which “speaks volumes” for him.
What’s next?
Fit for TV is currently streaming on Netflix, but Jillian’s answer clearly changed the mood of the conversation.
Will this matter go to court, or will it just be limited to social media receipts – it will be interesting to watch.
This saga is a reminder that the stories that play out behind the screen of reality TV are often more dramatic than the actual episodes.
