John Cena says playing Peacemaker has changed his life.
For him, it’s not just an action show, but a mix of love story and office comedy.
He’s so attached to his underdog character that he calls his team the “11th Street Kids” – people who had no hope but made their way anyway!

“Our team is like a family,” Cena explains. His chemistry with co-stars Danielle Brooks and Jennifer Holland is palpable.
Holland reveals that John is the first to arrive on set, the last to leave, and does extra prep for every scene.
Fans were delighted to see his fun at San Diego Comic-Con, where John said, “I’ve never had this much fun on a press tour!”
James Gunn: Mentor and friend
John gives the credit for the show’s success directly to creator James Gunn.
“James is not just a director, he’s a friend,” he says.
He said that Gunn saw beyond his wrestling catchphrase, “You Can’t See Me,” and believed in his abilities.
