The 40-year-old reality star posted a selfie to his Instagram Stories on August 11 that caused a stir on social media.
One night, three posts and a whole lot of courage
The evening started out normal — JT posted a mirror shot from bed, Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” playing in the background.
He then shared a close-up selfie, this time with the song “Highwayman,” which mentioned “courage” and “half a bottle of wine.”
But the real bombshell of the night came when JT posted a bare-bottom selfie from a hotel bathroom!
Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson’s song “Pancho and Lefty” was playing in the background, and the caption read – “Last one night, sorry mom and fam lol.”
“I’m cancelling myself, goodnight”
After this bold move, JT posted a video in which he announced, “I’m cancelling myself, goodnight”.
Was this an alcohol-induced decision or a ploy to grab fans’ attention?
We’ll never know, but the next day, JT was back to normal mode and posted a sunny snap from Washington, DC with the song “Danger Zone” from Top Gun playing.
Still in the news after exit from Southern Charm
JT joined Southern Charm in Season 9 and left the show midway through Season 10 in November 2024.
He said that he needed to recover “physically and mentally” after a challenging year.
