Justin Theroux Was Psyched to Work with Meryl Streep!
Can you even imagine acting alongside Meryl Streep? Well, Justin Theroux just did, and he’s still buzzing about it!
He was at the L.A. premiere for Season 2 of his show, “Fallout,” and couldn’t stop gushing about his experience on the set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”
The guy is 54, has a super successful career, but even he was totally starstruck by the legendary, three-time Oscar winner.1
The Initial Jitters (That Didn’t Last)
He kicked things off with a great joke: “Oh my God. I think she was nervous working with me, but I tried…”
Ha! But then he got serious, confirming, “No, she was fantastic.” That little bit of humor perfectly captures how surreal it must feel.
He admitted to being a bit nervous at first, but thankfully, that feeling quickly disappeared, and he realized he was just working with “a really great actress.” Just another Tuesday, right? (Well, maybe not!)
When in Rome… (Or Italy!)
It sounds like a blast, too! The cast actually headed to Italy for the sequel’s filming. Justin’s wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, joined him, and he dropped some awesome behind-the-scenes pics on Instagram.
He was hanging out with a killer group: Stanley Tucci, Anne Hathaway, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley, and Emily Blunt. All those smiles definitely hint at some great on-screen chemistry when the movie finally hits theaters on May 1, 2026!
Juggling Post-Apocalyptic Dramas and High Fashion
While we wait for the fashion fun, Justin is seriously busy. He’s currently promoting the second season of the hit Prime Video show, “Fallout,” where he plays Robert House.
That video game adaptation has been huge, and the new season drops on December 17th.
Going from the high-fashion, chic world of Prada to the desolate wasteland of Fallout really shows off how much range he has as an actor!

Seriously, who wouldn’t want to work with Meryl? Theroux summed it up perfectly: “Everyone wants that,” he said.
She’s 76 and still going strong, and getting to share a scene with her is absolutely a bucket-list moment for any actor.
