Instead of just keeping the money, he believes wealth gives him the freedom to help others.

Together with his wife, Neha Kapur, he pays for college scholarships and supports animal charities.

One of his most unique habits is scrolling through GoFundMe at night to secretly pay off medical bills for strangers.

He calls this his “superhero” work because he helps people without them knowing who did it.

Kindness Starts at Home

Even though Kunal is very wealthy, he believes everyone should help others in small ways. He says we shouldn’t wait for politicians to fix the world’s problems.

A Multicultural Childhood

Kunal was born in London and moved to New Delhi when he was three years old. He grew up in a family that celebrated many different traditions.

They enjoyed Christmas with a tree and a “Santa,” but they also celebrated the Hindu festival of Diwali and the Muslim holiday of Eid.

This diverse upbringing taught him that the world has enough room for everyone and their different beliefs.

Learning History Through Film

Kunal’s new movie is called Christmas Karma. In it, he plays a character named Mr. Sood, who is a modern version of the famous character Scrooge.

The movie is based on a real historical event from 1972, when 80,000 Asian people were forced to leave their homes in Uganda.
