This sequel to the 2003 hit film ‘Freaky Friday’ is bringing a nostalgic treat for the fans.

Lindsay is now 39 years old and like her character Anna, she has also become a mother!

In a conversation with PEOPLE magazine, Lindsay said in a funny way, “If I become a teenager again, I will definitely go to the gym, which I did not do then.” The depth of life experiences was hidden in her laughter.

Thoughts of body swap with son Luai

When Lindsay and her husband Bader Shammas were asked about body swapping with their 2-year-old son Luai, she gave a cute reply, “If I were in his place, I would definitely go to the park because he likes to go there.

And if he were in my place… Well, he can’t drink tea, maybe he can eat ice cream!”

What’s special in the film?

This time the twist of body swap in ‘Freakier Friday’ is even more interesting.

Anna (Lindsay) swaps bodies with her daughter Harper (Julia Butters) and Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) swaps bodies with Harper’s future step sister Lily (Sophia Hammons).

In the film, Vanessa Bayer is playing the role of a fortune teller and Manny Jacinto will be seen as Anna’s fiancé Eric.

At the premiere, Lindsay paid tribute to Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw in a white ruched midi dress with a tulle hem that resembled Carrie’s iconic tutu.

She wrote on Instagram, “Feeling blessed at the NYC premiere 💚💜 Freakier Friday feels with a little family love and a nod to Carrie Bradshaw 🗽✨”

Lindsay was joined at the screening by her husband Shammas, mother Dina and siblings Michael Jr., Aliana and Dakota.

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay’s 22-year-old friendship is still as strong as ever.

Jamie recently congratulated Lindsay on her 39th birthday by calling her “my movie baby” who has now become “grown up mommy.”
