Lori Loughlin made her first public appearance since separating from Massimo Giannulli.

Lori Loughlin’s Emotional Hallmark Comeback
Lori Loughlin is officially back with her Hallmark family, and it sounds like the whole experience was incredibly emotional!
The actress made her first big public appearance since the news broke that she and her husband of 28 years, Mossimo Giannulli, are taking a break from their marriage.
She surprised everyone by showing up at the “When Calls the Heart” panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience on December 12th, and the audience went wild, giving her a huge standing ovation!
A Heartfelt Reunion with Her “Family”
Lori, looking sharp in a white pinstripe suit, got choked up as she stood before the cheering crowd. She simply managed to say “Thank you” to the audience.
She told the panel that the return was a surprise to her, too, mentioning she only found out about coming back to the series “maybe a month ago, two months ago.”
Her co-star, Erin Krakow, was right by her side, holding her hand, and apparently had been “advocating” for her to come back for a long time.
Lori wrapped up her thanks by saying how much it felt like coming home: “We have a very special cast, and a very special relationship, and it feels so good to be back with my family… thank you for being so loving and so welcoming.”
Navigating Personal Change
This professional high point is happening while Lori is dealing with some big changes at home.
Back in October, her rep confirmed that she and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli are “living separately and taking a break from their marriage” after nearly three decades together.
They share two adult daughters, Olivia Jade (26) and Isabella Rose (27), and had listed their Hidden Hills mansion for a whopping $16.5 million earlier this year.
It seems she has a great circle of friends supporting her right now—many of whom have gone through a divorce themselves.
Sources say her friends are “rallying around her,” and are even “very angry” with her estranged husband.
The good news is that her daughters are focused on “keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family,” with no bad blood between them.
Despite all the personal hurdles, it looks like this return to her beloved show, When Calls the Heart (where she will reprise her role as Abigail Stanton in Season 14, airing in 2027), is giving Lori a supportive and familiar environment to find her feet again.
