What happened?
Love Island USA season 7 contestant Taylor Williams, 25, was riding a horse during a horse race at the Arizona Invitational Black Rodeo when his horse suddenly tripped, fell to the ground, and Taylor was trapped underneath.
What did the video look like?
A TikTok clip shows the horse getting caught in someone’s noose and coming to a sudden stop. It then rolled to the ground and ran over Taylor.
Taylor remained there for a few seconds until organizers jumped in to help.
Taylor’s reaction
Taylor said in an Instagram Story after seeing replies from friends and fans, “‘Appreciate it dawg,’” with a heart emoji.
When a friend sent him prayers for a “speedy recovery,” he thanked them and said he was okay.
On the evening of his brother’s birthday
Despite the tragic accident, Taylor did not give up. He added, “It was brother’s birthday tonight—so he’ll be at the event, injured and all!”
His enthusiasm and celebratory mood proved that the “Cowboy spirit” should always be kept alive.
Updates from the hospital
Just hours later, Taylor shared a picture from the hospital bed, in which he was seen wearing a neck brace.
The caption read, “Appreciate all the love! I’m all good.” His fans were relieved that the injury was not serious.

Taylor described himself as a veterinary student and rodeo expert on the show. He used to say, “If you don’t take risks in life, where’s the fun?”
He reached the penultimate episode with Clarke Carraway and was eliminated in second spot.
