Lucas Adams’ blast in Genoa City
Days of Our Lives’ popular Tripp Dalton, Lucas Adams, is now joining the cast of The Young and the Restless.
The 32-year-old Adams will play Noah Newman on the show this time.
His arrival in GENOA City will make this hot-cold-thrill drama even more interesting.
Noah Newman’s new avatar
Noah Newman, son of Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow), will now be seen as Lucas Adams after Rory Gibson.
Rory played the character from 2021-23, while Robert Adamson and Luke Kleintank played it before 1997.
Shooting for Adams begins this month, so this fall you’ll feel warmed up by the new story in Genoa City.
On the road to Y&R for the first time
What isn’t an amazing opportunity? Lucas made a cameo appearance as Wesley in a single episode in 2012.
At the time, he played a fan of Angelina (Diana DeGarmo).
Adams told Soap Opera Digest that “that was the only thing on my mind—that the character doesn’t get messed up or else I’ll have to take retakes.”
Tripp Dalton: Emmy journey
Adams made his debut on DOOL as Tripp Dalton in 2017.
Fans were delighted to play the son of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun), and Adams was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy twice.
He left the show in 2019, returned in 2020 and then said goodbye again in 2022.
He was also seen in the Beyond Salem spinoff.
Mother-son onscreen duo
Interestingly, Lucas’s onscreen mother, Tamara Braun, is also joining Y&R.
Braun will be moving to Genoa City as a mystery lady named Sienna Bacall, who is said to have connections to several characters.
It will be exciting to see the mother-son duo share the screen again.
Personal Life Glimpse
Adams played Josh Wilcox on Disney’s Liv and Maddie. He met costar Shelby Wulfert in 2016.
The couple got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot on October 15, 2022, at Chateau Hiddenwood, Texas.
Shelby celebrated Lucas’s joining Y&R by writing “So proud of you, babe!” on Instagram.
