Crew members were seen in Roger Sterling’s vomit scene in the new 4K episodes of Mad Men on HBO Max.

Mad Men’s “Oops” Moment
Mad Men was recently released on HBO Max, but instead of enjoying the series, fans discovered something they probably shouldn’t have seen.
When the show was released for streaming on December 1st, it contained some technical errors. Lionsgate accidentally sent the wrong files, which exposed the show’s “magic.”
The Truth About the Vomiting Scene
The biggest and funniest blunder occurred in the famous Season 1 episode “Red in the Face.” Remember the scene where Roger Sterling (John Slattery) vomits in his office after eating oysters?
It looked very natural in the original episode, but in the HBO Max version, two production people are seen standing behind Don Draper! These people were standing there controlling a fake vomit machine.
SIM Cards in the 1960s?
The mistakes didn’t stop there. In one episode of Season 2, Peggy Olson is walking down the streets of New York, and behind her, a shop advertises a “SIM Card”!
Fans were surprised to see a billboard depicting a 1960s-era SIM card and a modern-day Mexican restaurant.
Furthermore, several episode titles were incorrect—for example, the episode “5G” was labeled “Red in the Face.”
Lionsgate Admits Mistake
As fans began mocking these errors on social media, Lionsgate confirmed that they had accidentally uploaded “incorrect files.”
He said that proper 4K prints are being sent, and these mistakes will be fixed soon. Until then, fans are enjoying this “accidental behind-the-scenes” footage.
