Mandy Moore’s One Dream That Still Remains Unfulfilled!

Hello friends! We’ve loved Mandy Moore, who has spent over two decades in Hollywood, in every role, from “Candy” to “This Is Us.”

At 41, her career graph is steadily rising, but in an exclusive interview with People, Mandy revealed that there’s still one thing left on her career bucket list—Broadway.

Fear and Passion of Broadway

Mandy admits that the thought of performing on New York’s “Great White Way” (Broadway) scares her more than anything, but also excites her.

“Doing Broadway or theater one day is still top of mind for me,” she said.

“It definitely scares me, but the thought of it excites me the most.

Hopefully, when the time is right, this dream will come true.” Mandy isn’t picky about any particular genre.

She’s just waiting for the right time and the right project, whether it’s a new show or a revival of an old classic.

Before Social Media Fame

Mandy rose to fame at a young age with her hit single “Candy” in 1999, which led to roles in films like The Princess Diaries and A Walk to Remember.

Mandy is grateful that she found her initial fame before the social media era.

She feels it allowed her to live life like a normal 15-year-old girl.

She explained, “I could go to the mall, I could go to amusement parks…

I was able to balance both worlds (stardom and teenage life) easily, and I never felt too much pressure.”

Returning to TV with Fogelman

These days, Mandy is hosting a rewatch podcast, “That Was Us,” with her former This Is Us co-stars Chris Sullivan and Sterling K. Brown.

But the most exciting part is that she’ll be working with This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman once again! It’s an untitled NFL series that will stream on Hulu.

In the show, Mandy will play Lauren, the daughter of William H. Macy (Hank) and heir to his empire.

The show will also star Christopher Meloni.

Mandy Moore is constantly evolving her career, and it will be interesting to see when she steps onto Broadway and what role she chooses!
