Hey, on December 6th, during a podcast with Bret Easton Ellis, Tarantino bluntly declared, “I don’t like Matthew Lillard.”

“Yeah, Quentin said he doesn’t like me as an actor,” he said, prompting a loud “boo” for Tarantino!
At first, Matthew laughed and said, “Whatever… who cares?” But then he opened up, “It hurts me, to be honest. It really hurts.”

He also admitted that while he’s quite popular with fans, he’s “not that popular in Hollywood.” In his words, “It humbles you, and it hurts you.”

When a fan shouted, “We love you,” Matthew’s smile returned, and he simply said, “Thank you.” Matthew is known for hit films like ‘Scream’ and ‘Scooby-Doo,’ and the good news is that he’s returning in ‘Scream 7’!
In September, he revealed that returning to the role of Stu wasn’t an easy decision.
“I’m a little scared because if I come back and give a bad performance, it might ruin the good impression people have of Stu,” he said.
“I haven’t seen the movie yet, but it’s a risk I was excited to take!”
