According to reports, Meghan’s three children—8-year-old Aspen and 7-year-old twins Hart and Hayes—will celebrate Thanksgiving this year with their father, Jim Edmonds, and his wife, Kourtney, in Tennessee.

A Page Six report confirmed that Meghan will spend the festival alone this year.

Following a legal decision in November 2025, the children’s custody remains with their father for now, which is a major blow to Meghan.

School Nurse and Drug Controversy

The question on everyone’s mind is why the sudden custody was granted? According to PEOPLE magazine sources, the reason for this is a serious medical allegation.

It is being said that Meghan gave Ritalin to one of her sons, even though the doctor did not prescribe this medication for children.

Things came to a head when Meghan allegedly threatened the school nurse about giving the same medication to the child.

The school administration took this seriously and immediately involved Child Protective Services (CPS), which began an investigation.

Court’s Strict Decision

Following the school’s report, the guardian appointed for the children sought a temporary restraining order in court.

The court has currently granted Jim Edmonds sole physical custody of the children. This means the children will remain with their father for now.

Meghan will have to comply with the condition of supervised visitation to see her children, meaning she cannot meet them alone.

A hearing will soon be held to determine whether this arrangement will be permanent or changed.

This is not the first dispute between Meghan and Jim. The couple, who separated in 2019 after five years of marriage, have had a tumultuous relationship.
