After being arrested for furniture theft, Mia has finally broken her silence.
On Tuesday, November 25, on the occasion of her 41st birthday, she shared some glamour shots on Instagram and wrote a long message.
She says she’s trying to keep herself grounded amidst so much chaos. She wrote, “This birthday, I choose alignment and elegance.”

Mia didn’t directly mention her arrest in her post, but her words clearly reflected the difficult times she’s been through. She wrote, “Last week reminded me how important it is to stay calm when life is noisy.”
She believes that difficulties don’t define her, but rather how she bounces back. Calling herself “unshakeable,” she said she won’t crumble but will only get better.
This message was quite positive for fans, but the allegations are still serious.
Why was Mia arrested?
The case began when Mia was arrested at the Atlanta airport on November 19. She is accused of stealing furniture worth approximately $11,000 (approximately Rs. 9 lakh) from a rented condo.
According to the police report, the landlord says Mia stole the furniture in October. At midnight on the 28th, she removed all the belongings. This included not only the furniture but also the TV mounted on the wall.
When she arrived at the airport, Customs officials noticed that she had a warrant out against her and she was immediately taken into custody.

Police have also released body camera footage, which reveals another aspect of the story.
In the footage, Mia is seen asking officers if she can call someone who has the “storage key” so she can put the furniture back.
Mia claims she sent the landlord numerous emails and simply wanted her belongings returned. Frustrated, she said, “Enough is enough.”
