‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ star Mikayla Matthews has finally revealed her newborn daughter’s name to the world.
The 25-year-old reality star shared a special birthing video on Instagram on July 22, in which she revealed her little daughter’s name as Lottie June.
Gave birth standing up in the shower
Mikayla made a shocking revelation in her Instagram Stories.
She wrote, “I gave birth standing up in the shower and basically held her head myself.”
She explained that the experience was “crazy, intense and painful, but still absolutely perfect.”
Moments shown in emotional video
In the video shared, Mikayla and her husband, Jess Terry, can be seen expressing love with their newborn baby in the hospital.
Madison Malone’s song “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” keeps playing in the background, making the moment even more special.
First meeting with big siblings
The video shows some cute clips of Lottie June’s siblings – Tommy (3), Haven (5½), and Beckham (7½) – meeting their new little sister for the first time.
The meeting is extremely emotional and sweet.
Baby surprise on Christmas
Mikayla told People magazine that she and Terry shared the news of their growing family with their children on Christmas. “We waited until after our first ultrasound.
We actually told them on the show, and they were so excited.
They said Santa Claus brought them a baby on Christmas. It was very sweet.”
Possibility of more babies
Mikayla has hinted that she is likely to welcome more children.
She added, “I’m still surrounded by the Mormon culture, and my husband’s siblings have so many kids.
They say, ‘Once you have three kids, you can have 10.’ That’s a little bit my mindset.”
The couple, who welcomed Lottie June into their family on July 17, shared the news of their daughter’s birth via an Instagram post just days later.
“7•17•25 🤍 Our perfect baby girl is here,” the reality star captioned a series of photos of herself, Terry and the newborn at the hospital.
