But now, amid the show’s final season, Millie has broken her silence on these rumors and revealed what the actual atmosphere was like on set.
Security and a 10-Year Relationship
In a new interview, Millie stated unequivocally that she felt “safe” around David. She recalled that they’ve been working together for the past 10 years.
David Harbour plays her father (Hopper) on the show, so they have a natural bond.
Millie says that when you spend so much time with someone, a comfortable relationship is formed, and she feels safe with everyone on set.
Deep Bond Like a Father-Daughter
Millie explained that Hopper and Eleven’s relationship is as intense on-screen as their chemistry off-screen.
She said, “We play father and daughter, so our bond is a little different and deeper than the rest of the cast.”
However, her best friend, Noah Schnapp, jokingly remarked that her relationship with David couldn’t be deeper than their friendship, to which Millie laughed in agreement.
