The real thing everyone is talking about
Nika King has spoken the absolute truth about her Euphoria future, and fans can’t stop sharing it.
The actress, who plays Zendaya and Storm Reid’s mother on the hit HBO show, posted a video that’s causing a stir on social media.
What actually happened?
King posted a clip of herself cleaning a restaurant stove while wearing scrubs and cleaning gloves.
Her caption read “When people ask me if I’m shooting S3 of Euphoria?” and then wrote “Work is work.”
Fans are not happy
The backlash came in quickly. One viewer wrote, “Oh this really pissed me off,” while another added that it’s “still so bullshit” considering King’s “great” acting skills.
This isn’t the first time she’s spoken out
This isn’t new territory for King. In March, during a standup gig, he joked:
“Season 3 is coming… I don’t know. Don’t ask me. ‘We want Season 3!’ Bitch, I want Season 3 – I haven’t paid rent in six months.”
The long wait continues
Euphoria fans know the pain of waiting. After the show debuted in 2019, there was a massive 2.5-year gap before Season 2 arrived in January 2022.
Now, we’re looking at late 2025 or even 2026 for new episodes.

Cast changes
King isn’t the only one missing from the lineup. Barbie Ferreira announced her exit in 2022, and the show tragically lost Angus Cloud in 2023.
What’s next for Season 3?
The news is that the new season jumps ahead five years, to when everyone is just out of high school.
Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow are returning as regulars.
There are some new faces joining as well — Rosalia, Marshawn Lynch, and Kadeem Hardison are all reportedly set to return for the new season.
