After taking a sudden “leave of absence” from Chicago P.D., Patrick John Flueger finally made a public appearance, and in a big way!
The 41-year-old actor recently visited the Lyric Opera of Chicago. But he wasn’t alone—his costar and close friend, Marina Squerciati, and his real-life girlfriend, Reem Amara, were also present.
Marina shared a glimpse of these special moments on Instagram on Sunday, November 23rd, much to the delight of her fans. She captioned it as a lovely evening with her “beautiful friends.”

The group’s style in the photos was a sight to behold. Patrick looked the part of a perfect gentleman in a classic three-piece suit, a white shirt, and a bow tie.
He had his hands on both Marina and Reem’s shoulders, and a sweet smile on his face.
The ladies weren’t left behind either—Marina looked simple and elegant in a black textured dress, while Reem kept her fashion game strong with a high-neck black velvet dress and a dark purple fur coat.
Marina advised fans to “definitely watch the live performances; they’re worth it.”

Marina also shared a cute selfie in which she was smiling, and Patrick looked a little serious, their heads resting on each other.
Although Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess are husband and wife on the show, in real life, Marina considers Patrick her “best friend in the world.”
They say their chemistry feels so natural because they’re really close to each other and enjoy working together.

Patrick took a break from the show on October 22nd due to personal reasons, which left fans a little worried. But the good news is that this goodbye isn’t forever.
