Love Island USA love ended
After the seventh season of Love Island USA, Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez’s relationship is now over.
The two had a great time in the villa, but the relationship slowed down in the real world.
Speaking to TMZ on August 28, Pepe said plainly, “Iris and I are no longer together. It’s just the way it is.”
Fact or rumour?
Breakup rumours intensified when fans noticed that Iris and Pepe unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Iris deleted all her posts of Pepe, but Pepe still kept some pictures on his feed.
There were rumours that Pepe cheated, but he completely denied these charges.
“My real friends and family know that I’m an honest person,” he said.
Iris’s hint
On the same day, Iris showed off a self-baked cookie on her Instagram Stories, which had a picture of her crying emoji on it.
Her caption read, “LOL thanks for this @funnyfacebakery.”
With a sad smile, Iris made it clear to fans that she was heartbroken, but did not lose her humor.
Social media escalated the situation
Even before the breakup news, there was gossip on social platforms.
The two appeared together on the reunion episode of Love Island USA (Aug. 25), but the look of that night could not be changed.
Fan pages put the sunset photo to the tune of Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs,” a song known for its breakups.
Pepe’s clarification
Pepe denied the cheating rumors without naming anyone, saying, “I have never cheated.
My honesty is known to my fans.” She then added that she is now focused on new adventures and other plans, not dating drama.
The road ahead
Life outside of Love Island is a little different—no cameras, no audience.
Iris and Pepe are both trying to keep their relationship as normal as it was before.
But as the seasons of love change, they have parted ways for now.
