Queen Latifah shows to be cut in 2025: From FBI, S.W.A.T. to Sex Lives of College Girls, fans are disappointed

CBS dealt the biggest blow when it canceled several of its popular procedural shows.
Queen Latifah’s “The Equalizer” after 5 seasons, “S.W.A.T.” after 8 seasons, and two spinoffs of the FBI franchise, “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International,” were also abruptly ended.
CBS president Amy Reisenbach cited “financial responsibility” as the reason.

Max surprised fans by canceling “The Sex Lives of College Girls.”
Mindy Kaling’s popular show shut down despite attempts to find a new home.
Netflix ended Noah Centineo’s “The Recruit” after just two seasons, while “Heartstopper” decided to end with a movie instead of a fourth season.
Prime Video also left no stone unturned
Prime Video also bid goodbye to many of its shows.
“Harlem” ended with the third season, while the “Cruel Intentions” reboot and “Clean Slate” were canceled after just one season.
The biggest shock was to “The Wheel of Time” fans when it was shut down after the third season.
Havoc on network TV too
NBC ended “Suits LA” after just one season, while shows like “Night Court” and “Lopez v Lopez” were also canceled.
Fox ended “9-1-1: Lone Star” with the fifth season, although a spinoff is planned.

Many shows in 2025 were canceled after just one season.
These include ABC’s “Doctor Odyssey”, Apple TV+’s “The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin”, Hulu’s “How to Die Alone” and Peacock’s “Teacup”.
