Queer Eye won its seventh Emmy for Outstanding Structured Reality Program at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys.

Seventh consecutive Emmy Award
Netflix’s Love-branded show Queer Eye won Outstanding Structured Reality Program again at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys.
After six consecutive Emmy nominations from 2018 to 2023, Shark Tank took a break in 2024, but Queer Eye returned this year to prove its worth again.
The celebration was grand on September 7 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Who were the contestants?
The list of reality shows nominated for an Emmy this time included:
- Antiques Roadshow
- Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
- Love Is Blind
- Shark Tank
Each program has its own distinct world and fan base, but the magical energy of Queer Eye left them all behind.
The Long Run of Antiques Roadshow
Antiques Roadshow, which has been running on PBS since 1997, is the American version of the British original (1979).
It has been nominated for an Emmy 23 times since 2002, but has never won.
It has been recognized annually since 2014 in the new division of Outstanding Structured Reality Series, and this year it has been nominated for the twelfth time.
A Taste of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
Guy Fieri’s popular Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives has also been on the air since 1997 and has won an Emmy nine times.
Over 51 seasons, it has earned a place in viewers’ hearts by taking them around America’s classic “greasy spoon” restaurants.
This time around, Fieri and his crew earned a nomination for Structured Reality Program of the Year.
Love Is Blind – Why hasn’t Love won an Emmy?
Netflix’s slightly unique dating reality show Love Is Blind received its first Emmy nomination in 2020, and then its words continued to reach the audience every season.
But it has not won any trophy yet. This year, for the fifth time, it was in the race for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, but could not win.
The magic of Shark Tank’s “Sharks”
ABC’s Shark Tank brought its 27th Emmy nomination.
It has won five so far after being nominated for the first time in 2012.
This time, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Daniel Lubetzky were all together – like an ocean of business investments!
Cuban, talking about his final season, said that the show transformed him from a “sports guy” to a “business icon”.
Final season announced
The veteran cast of Queer Eye—Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness—and new entry Jeremiah Brent have begun filming the tenth and final season.
“Thank you, this journey has been the most beautiful chapter of my life,” Tan France wrote on social media.
Overall, the Structured Reality Program category requires the right mix of experience, novelty, and connection.
Queer Eye has kept this formula alive so many times that it seems natural for it to win a seventh Emmy Award.
But in the coming times, when the next stage of these shows comes to the fore, the struggle will be even more colorful.
