Competition in the Round Round

On Monday, November 17th, the episode of the Round Round was a high-pressure affair. Coach Reba faced two talented singers: Cori Kennedy and Aaron Nichols.

Cori showed off her strength with her rendition of “Hurricane,” while Aaron won everyone’s hearts with his beautiful rendition of “You and I.”

Reba couldn’t stop praising both of them. Regarding Cori, she said, “You’re a powerhouse! The moment you step on stage, you know you’re truly powerful.”

She also credited Aaron with the advantage of his Nashville experience, saying he performs like a seasoned veteran.

Reba’s Tough Decision

But ultimately, Reba had to choose one. When asked by host Carson Daly, she decided to advance Aaron Nichols.

Reba explained, “Aaron has a strong sense of his own identity. He’s so strong in his own style, and he sticks to it.”

What’s the secret of the mic drop?

This is where the twist came. After announcing her decision, Reba pressed her “mic drop button,” allowing Aaron to perform in the Rose Parade.

Each coach can use this button only once per season. This allows their chosen artist to earn a chance to sing in the prestigious Rose Parade through America’s voting.

Reba has complete faith in Aaron. She believes he can deliver a stellar performance there.

Who did the other coaches choose?

Before Reba, coach Niall Horan gave his mic drop to Nashville trio DEK of Hearts.

Michael Bublé offered this to Max Chambers. Now, only Snoop Dogg has this special button left.

This exciting season of “The Voice” airs every Monday at 8 pm on NBC. Let’s see who wins this golden opportunity to sing in the Rose Parade!
