A Star Falls at the Concert
Stranger Things girl, Sadie Sink, appears on stage! This is what happened at London’s O2 Arena on November 16th.
At a concert on Lorde’s Ultrasound world tour, Sadie Sink made such an entrance that the entire audience exclaimed, “Oh my God!”
Both of them were on stage
The TikTok video that went viral clearly shows Lorde and Sadie walking on stage, holding hands, singing the lyrics to ‘Green Light’.
Their hair sways in the wind, and a green light covers the entire stage.
The energy of the concert was palpable! Lorde even shouted to the crowd, “Get up, man!”
This moment was so special because Sadie had already received a certificate of being a Lorde fan.
I’m a big Lorde fan!
No excuses, Sadie is a true fan. This year, Sadie was in the Broadway play ‘John Proctor Is the Villain.’ Lorde’s song ‘Green Light’ was prominently used in that play.
Sadie told Vogue in June, “Oh man, I’m a huge Lorde fan! I’m so excited for her new album. ‘Solar Power’ was so important in my life.”
And it seems Lorde reciprocated this love.
This Series of Love
The real twist came when Lorde herself went to the theater to see Sadie’s play in July!
Playwright Kimberly Belflower wrote on Instagram that Lorde was sitting in the theater enjoying the play, waving her hands in the air to her own song. Kimberly described that night as “surreal and beautiful.”
So, this concert surprise was a loving response. One artist appreciated another’s art and reciprocated by taking the stage!
Now, Lorde will continue her European tour until December, then head to Brooklyn.
It’s not known if there will be any more surprises in store!
