It was September 2025. Sandra accompanied her sister, Sofia, on an episode of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ where Sofia is a judge.
Sandra shared a photo of the two of them, captioning it, “AGT nights with the 🐐✨.”
Meaning, Sofia is absolutely top-notch for her! Earlier that same summer, the two celebrated Labor Day weekend together.
Sandra posted a sunny photo of them standing by a pool. She wrote, “Happy Labor Day Weekend!… En familia ❤️🇺🇸.”
This means that their relationship is so deep, despite their busy schedules, they make time for each other.
That Time When Life Got Heavy
But Sandra’s life wasn’t always so easy. In July 2025, she shared a harsh truth about her life on a podcast.
She revealed that at the age of 25, she started drinking heavily due to a toxic relationship.
Eventually, after leaving that relationship, she sought help and underwent treatment at a rehab center.
According to Sandra, “I quit drinking, and I felt really good about it.”
The Truth About ‘California Sober’
She shared this big revelation on Instagram in May 2025. Sandra revealed that she was addicted to psychedelic drugs, but has now been completely sober for three years.
She said, “Psychedelics… are called ‘California Sober’ in recovery circles these days.
But for me, they also became a new way to escape reality.”
She explained that sobriety doesn’t just mean abstaining from drugs, but also learning to face life’s challenges without seeking refuge.
