Sarah Jessica Parker recently revealed in a Q&A session that she never wanted to watch her most famous series, Sex and the City and its spinoff And Just Like That…, in its entirety.

Sitting in a chair at Threads in a small restaurant in New York, Parker spoke openly about her experiences and decisions.

It is ‘weird’ to see yourself on screen

Parker honestly said, “I don’t like seeing myself on screen at all. It doesn’t seem magical to me at all.”

She said that many close friends tried to convince her, but her heart did not agree.

“I don’t want my time back,” she says, smiling.

Value of time and emotional bitterness

She believes that when an old work is left behind you, it becomes emotionally complicated to see it again.

Parker says, “As I move away from that period, both my memories and emotions are becoming more complicated.”

“They know all my lines by heart,” Parker laughs, “I just keep looking from one another: did she say that? Oh wow!”

“He got completely emotional after watching four episodes and complimented us on how great the work was,” Parker said.
