Welcome to the New Chosen One
Sarah will become Buffy again in the Buffy reboot coming on Hulu, but this time she will also have a new slayer – Ryan Kiera Armstrong!
Sarah welcomed Ryan in a very cute video: “Will you help me save the world by becoming my chosen one?”
Talent’s Dazzling Entry
Sarah said that as soon as she saw Ryan’s audition, she had decided that she was the girl who would share the screen with her.
“Having so much emotional intelligence and talent at such a young age is truly a blessing,” Sarah said.
“And her smile lights up even the darkest of places!”
What will be special in the reboot?
In an interview with Vanity Fair Italia, Sarah gave a little hint about the tone of the new show.
“It will be much lighter than the last few seasons of the original series,” she said.
“We will try to create a balance between the old and new characters.
My dream is to bring back all the characters who died, but I also want to hear new stories!”
Old Cast Is Also Excited
Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase in the original series, told IGN that she wants to be a part of the reboot.
“I hope Cordelia will be a part of this new iteration,” she said.
Sarah also revealed that the children of several actors from the original show have also auditioned for the new show!
Star Power Behind the Scenes
Apart from Sarah, this reboot is being developed by Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Poker Face) and Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao (Nomadland).
Till now only Sarah and Ryan are officially cast, and the release date of the show is also not known yet.
