August 7 was a memorable day for fans in Los Angeles when Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted on the set of the reboot of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer“.
She was seen in a stunning red mini dress, with matching stilettos and a cup of coffee in her hand.
Believe me, despite the passage of time, Buffy’s fashion sense is still amazing!
The dress that won everyone’s heart
This long-sleeved dress with a deep V-neckline had a floral design at the waist, which fell a little above the knee.
Sarah’s golden hair color and red heels made the whole look even more beautiful.
While drinking coffee in between takes, Sarah looked exactly as we remember her – stylish and confident!
New Buffy show coming to Hulu
In February, People magazine confirmed that a reboot of Buffy is in development at Hulu.
Oscar winner Chloe Zhao is directing the pilot episode.
Nora and Lila Zukerman are handling writing and showrunning.
Sarah is also executive producing, along with Gail Berman, Fran and Kaz Kuzui, and Dolly Parton — who was an uncredited producer on the original series.
“It’ll be for the fans”
Sarah revealed on Instagram in June that she had long ruled out any return until she was sure the project would honor Buffy’s legacy.
“I’ve always listened to the fans and understood your desire to see Buffy and her world reimagined, but I couldn’t do this until I was sure we could do it right,” she wrote. “It’ll be for all of you.”
Work is progressing quickly
Preparations for the reboot are moving quickly. In March, Sarah told People that it was “progressing faster than I probably expected.”
In May, she revealed that Ryan Kiera Armstrong would become the new Chosen One.
Recently, she shared behind-the-scenes table-read photos and a video of her training in the gym with the caption “Warrior 1 and 2.
We don’t sweat… we shine.”
