Filming Wraps on “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”
Great news for Marvel fans! The newest Spider-Man movie, Brand New Day, has finished filming.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton announced the news on Instagram, confirming that production is officially over.
This fourth movie starring Tom Holland is expected to lead into the next Avengers film and will hit theaters on July 31st.
A Message from the Director
The director, Destin Daniel Cretton, shared photos of the cast and crew to celebrate the end of filming.
He called it the most “rewarding” project of his career. He specifically thanked Tom Holland for being a great leader and for his amazing performance on set.
Tom Holland’s Injury
Making the movie wasn’t always easy. In September, filming had to stop briefly after Tom Holland suffered a mild concussion during a stunt.
He was taken to the hospital but recovered quickly and was able to get back to work soon after.
New and Returning Cast Members
Tom Holland isn’t the only star returning. Zendaya will be back as MJ.
The movie also features new actors, including Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas, though we don’t know who they are playing yet.
With Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing, fans are expecting another huge hit.
