St. Denis Medical Season 2
If you thought St. Denis Medical was just filled with stories of patients and surgeries, get ready! Season 2 is going to be a land of love.
In an exclusive interview, actress Wendi McLendon-Covey revealed that this season will be full of romance.
What’s in store for romance?
Wendy, who plays the hospital’s executive director, Joyce, says, “We’re going to delve deeper into the personal lives of many characters, especially their love lives.”
This means we’ll see love stories between the staff doctors and nurses. Additionally, some old exes will return, providing a source of comedy.
These Famous Faces to Meet
This season will also feature some major guest stars. According to Wendi, in addition to famous actors from shows like Seinfeld and Veep, a face from “What We Do in the Shadows” will also appear.
NBC has also confirmed names like Ariana Madix, Kristen Schaal, and Lauren Lapkus. They will undoubtedly bring new life to the characters.
Joyce’s Big Win and ‘Themed’ Birthing Room
At the end of last season, the hospital received a $10 million donation.
Now, Joyce is using the money to build a new birthing center. And listen, this won’t be any ordinary birthing center!
The rooms will have different themes. Wendy jokes, “If you want, you can give birth in an Outback-themed room!”
Characters Will Go Outside the Hospital
Until now, most of the storylines have revolved within the hospital, but this time, the characters will also be seen in the outside world.
Wendy says that even she found it strange to shoot in normal clothes!
Joyce’s Soft Heart
Wendy explains that Joyce isn’t just a fast-paced office leader, but also a sensitive person.
The first episode of the season also features an emotional scene with her coworker, Alex (Alison Tolman), that reveals her softer side.
So get ready for this new, romantic, and incredibly fun journey on St. Denis Medical.
Season 2 premieres November 3rd at 8 p.m. (EST), only on NBC.
