Stephenie LaGrossa’s viral remark leaves Survivor fans angry, Eliza Orlins responds

🔥 Stephenie LaGrossa’s Social media storm
Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, a contestant on Survivor 50 and a four-time contestant on the show, is in the news for all the wrong reasons.
In an Instagram video, she made comments about fellow alum Eliza Orlins that people are openly calling anti-Semitic.
📌 What is the matter?
Eliza Orlins recently posted a post on her Substack – “The Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Files: MAGA, Misinformation, and Deleted Receipts” – in which she made several allegations against Kendrick.
In response, Stephenie said in a video:
“Eliza tried to bury me about Donald Trump… don’t come at me when you’re f—— Jewish and your parents are 1% of the population of wealth…”
She then denied being called a “right-wing bigot” and ended the conversation in a very aggressive tone.
đź’¬ Eliza’s reaction
Eliza, who is a two-time Survivor contestant and New York public defender, said she was not surprised by Stephenie’s statement.
She hoped CBS would take this kind of behavior seriously.
🍷 Stephenie’s clarification
After the uproar, Stephenie admitted that she had recorded the video while drinking wine.
She says she was actually angry at Eliza because “despite being a Jew, she was not standing up for her community.”
Stephenie said –
“My words were wrong, the tone was wrong, and it hurt people.
I want to make it clear that I stand with the Jewish community and am against discrimination of all kinds.”
🎠Stir in the Survivor fanbase
Interestingly, Stephenie and Eliza have never competed in the same season.
Stephenie has participated in Survivor: Palau, Guatemala, Heroes vs. Villains and now the 50th season.
Eliza has appeared in Survivor: Vanuatu and Micronesia.
This controversy has sparked debate in the Survivor fanbase – should reality TV stars take responsibility for their words and behavior outside of their on-screen image?
📺 What’s next?
Survivor 50 has been completed and will be on-air in the spring of 2026.
But this controversy of Stephenie has left a big stain, even before the promotion of the show.
Now it remains to be seen whether CBS takes any action on this or the matter will cool down in a few days due to the fast pace of social media.
