Actor and TV host Terrence J (full name Terrence Jenkins) is set to marry his fiancée, model Mikalah Sultan.

Terrence recently confirmed the big news in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE during Culture Con 2025 in Brooklyn.

Terrence (43) said the wedding date is coming “very, very soon,” and it’s just around the corner.

The most exciting part of the wedding is the venue: the couple is getting married in Dubai.

Terrence said that both he and Mikalah (27) are very excited about this, as Dubai was the place where they enjoyed their first trip together.

This means that the place where their romance began will now be the beginning of their new journey. How romantic, isn’t it?

Miami Surprise Proposal

If you remember, Terrence surprised Mikalah with a surprise proposal in Miami last December 2023.

Photos of the special occasion were shared on social media by their friends and family, including La La Anthony, who congratulated them.

A party was also held after the proposal.

Terrence flew several of Mikalah’s family members to Miami for the occasion.

Speaking of Mikalah Sultan’s ring, he later shared a close-up photo of a large rectangular diamond adorning her finger. The ring is truly a sight to behold!

From ‘106 & Park’ to the Oscars

Amidst wedding preparations, Terrence J has also made a name for himself in his career.

He hosted BET’s popular music video show ‘106 & Park’ from 2006 to 2012.

He also co-anchored ‘E! News from 2012 to 2015.

He has also proven his acting prowess in films such as ‘Think Like a Man,’ ‘Burlesque,’ and ‘Entourage.’

And most importantly, Terrence won an Oscar in 2021 as the executive producer of the short film ‘Two Distant Strangers.’
