The show’s actor and writer, Alex Edelman, has spilled the beans, and it seems things are going to be quite serious and interesting this time around.

Alex Edelman, who plays Adam on the show, says that this time around in the writers’ room, “everything is on the table.”

Meaning, no idea is being rejected, and the writers are willing to go to any lengths.

He says that audiences are definitely in for a surprise, as the show will feature twists that are completely different from Season 1.

The comedy will be the same, but the style will be completely new.

See the characters from a new perspective

In Season 1, we saw how Ned (Domhnall Gleeson) tries to save a sinking newspaper, the Toledo Truth Teller. But Season 2 won’t just focus on saving the newspaper.

Alex explains that we’ll get to know the other characters in a new way.

Their personal stories and quirks will be explored in a way that will feel like you’re meeting them for the first time.

Alex has called his entire cast “the murderer’s row”—meaning everyone is a champion in their field.

From Gbemisola Ikumelo to Sabrina Imappaciatore, every actor is doing amazing.

Most importantly, Oscar Nuñez from The Office is back. Show creator Greg Daniels explained that they didn’t call back the other former stars because their ending was perfect and they didn’t want to ruin it.

But Oscar’s story still had life left in it. On set, Oscar didn’t lecture new actors about “The Office,” but rather set an example for everyone with his work.
